In March 2025, Project ROAR teamed up with the adaptive ski school Awesome McCall at Tamarack Mountain to give Bowen Toomey his custom adaptive snowboard.

Already shredding with his family, Bowen needed an upgrade on his equipment to get to the next level. As an athlete who dances and swims, Bowen is dedicated to fine tuning his performance to make progress and achieve new heights!

The Toomey family is an inspiration for all of us. Not only is Bowen our first full quad amputee, but Bowen and his family are courageous and caring individuals. Adopted from Serbia as a baby, his family is paving the way for an accessible future for the disability community.
